Doctor Cuevas, the director of San Ysidro Health Center with the help of other dentist and assistants held a Dental Health Fair at local Baptist Churches. Over the four days of the fair, the dentist examined and provided fluoride treatment for over one hundred-twenty five children. Parents took their children to sponsoring churches where San Ysidro Health Center provided free dental service. Churches provided activities and refreshments; Integrity Christian Fellowship Church held a soccer camp in conjunction with the fair at their site. The fair was a success, children who were at risk of having cavities and other dental problems were identified for follow-up and more aggressive treatment also, church records show ten children accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. The church and health organizations are working together for the benefit of the community, San Ysidro Health Center and CSBC working in partnership. Thank you Doctor Cuevas, you and your staff.
