East Village Community Church located at 1625 Newton Street in San Diego has join Southern Baptist Convention. Pastor Hubbard, Sr pastor of East Village Community Church has a heart to evangelize the downtown San Diego area. In November EVCC had an outreach fair for the community, handing out food baskets to locale families and health care kits to the homeless. Pastor Hubbard and his wife have partnered with San Diego Southern Baptist Association, Vision San Diego and four other churches to sponsor a five day Health Fair in April.
